Outwood Primary Academies Helping Local Group
Members of the Outwood Family have been involved with supporting a local group that aims to help the elderly and vulnerable.
Wrenthorpe and Kirkhamgate Assist was established earlier this year in March with the aim of helping those in the community who need it most. The group was set up by local councillor Nic Stansby.
Two Outwood Primary Academies have been involved in the run up to Christmas.
Outwood Primary Kirkhamgate has been collecting donations for hampers and have written cards which will be distributed to those in need.
Outwood Primary Ledger Lane have also written cards and prepared hampers. The Outstanding-rated primary academy has nominated those over 70 and on their own in Outwood to be the recipients.
