The Outwood Family...on film

We are delighted to be launching a new series of videos that will shine a light on all parts of the Outwood Family.

The videos will show the Students First vision in practice and shine a spotlight on the many success stories across the Trust.

In the first full-length video, Welcome to the Outwood Family, which you can see here, Martyn Oliver, CEO of Outwood Grange Academies Trust, discusses why the Students First vision is so important.

Martyn said:

“When you have a conversation with a child that’s struggled and has very much given up, and then you see the joy when they start to feel a sense of achievement and a sense of self-worth and place in the school and the community, then you know you’re doing something worthwhile. You’re not just stopping that child from being vulnerable there and then, you’re stopping them from being vulnerable, I hope, for life.

“When you see that, nothing can ever give you that same sense of satisfaction again. It’s a tremendous thing, a powerful thing.”
