A-Level Results Day at Post 16 Centre Worksop

Kristian Johnson, a journalist from the BBC, spent the morning with Outwood Post 16 Centre Worksop students as they received their A-Level results.

While many of the students were celebrating their successes, some A-Level Law students shared their views on the advance information given by exam board AQA.

There were highlights for the Post 16 Centre in A-Level Further Maths where 69% of students achieved a grade A* or A. In A-Level Law, 57% of the students achieved a grade A* or A, and A-Level Maths saw 49% of students achieving a grade A* or A.

Janette Shea, Head of Centre at Outwood Post 16 Centre said:

“The determination of our students over the last year or so has been nothing short of inspirational. Despite the additional challenges, they have continued to engage positively with their studies. We are extremely proud of their achievements and so happy that they can now enjoy their success together. Teachers and support staff have always been here supporting their aspirations and we are excited to see what they achieve in the future.”
