Outwood Grange Academies Trust (OGAT) teamed up with an international engineering company to help teach students more about international careers that involve different languages.

Students at a South Yorkshire secondary school have been given an in-depth look at potential careers within the media.

Students from the Outwood Family of Schools were given a computer masterclass by a global technology leader.

Outwood Academy Hemsworth students were given the opportunity to visit West Yorkshire Police’s Carr Gate Complex as part of the Academy’s Community Action Programme.

We are delighted to announce that following our recent inspection OFSTED have now judged the academy to be good in all areas with outstanding leadership and management.  

UCAS is now open for applications to train to teach.

We are delighted to announce Outwood Primary Academy Lofthouse Gate has been designated as an English Hub.

The work undertaken was to ensure, as set out in the Trust Sustained Improvement Plan, that we provide a knowledge rich curriculum in years 7 and 8 that builds upon primary education and prepares for years 9, 10 and 11 whilst being broad and balanced. 

In addition to the annual maintenance work and deep cleaning, this summer saw significant building activity take place in a number of our academies.
