Outwood Edtech Supporting Edtech Week

Today marks the launch of Edtech Week across the UK, a six-day online Edtech event designed to celebrate the work of the Edtech Demonstrator schools and colleges.

Outwood Edtech, which launched earlier this year, and its Edtech leaders have already trained over 3,000 staff to date from across numerous different schools and colleges across the country.

As part of Edtech Week, there will be numerous different panels and discussions with industry experts, high-profile speakers, and the teachers who are providing remote education in classrooms.

Tristan Kirkpatrick, who leads Outwood Edtech, is taking part in a live panel discussion today at 11am. The panel will discuss: ‘What we’re learning | The Dfe Edtech Demonstrator Programme and Getting help with Technology’.

Tristan said:

“I am excited for Edtech Week and I am looking forward to taking part in the live panel. 2020 has been a tough year, and the complications it has brought have really highlighted the need for innovative solutions in education to ensure children can still get a high quality education even if they cannot be in the classroom.

“It has been brilliant start for us at Outwood Edtech, we have managed to help thousands of educators already and we are looking forward to helping many more. With 19 of our Edtech leaders now certified by Google, our team really does have a wealth of experience with education technology in primary, secondary and Post 16.”
